Can users share the address book when using the Labelwriter via a Dymo Print Server?

Yes. The print server allows the Labelwriter printer to be shared between multiple network PC's, each of which will need to have the Dymo Label Software installed in order to print labels to the machine.

If a shared address book is required then simply do the following:

  1. On the first PC create an address book on a shared network drive that all users can access (Address Book > New)
  2. On all of the other machines simply open the existing address book from the shared network drive (Address Book > Open)
Now all PC's will have access to the same address book.

Note: The software loads the address book when the software is opened, so any changes made to the address book on other PC's will not be seen until the software is restarted.

Can an address book be shared on multiple computers without using a dymo print server? My network does not have one to my knowledge. I tried following the above directions and when opening the one on the network drive, the address book area doesn't populate on the other computers.
