New Colours for Dymo Rhino Range, to meet various standards
Dymo have introduced a new range of coloured Vinyl tapes to their industrial/professional RhinoPRO range.
At first the colours may seem a bit odd (eg. brown & purple?) and some may question why the popular black on red has been replace with white on red. But it seems there is some sound reasoning behind the colour changes.
The new colour combinations have been created to meet the ANSI, ISO & OSHA standards which are now required in many facilities.

Dymo Rhino Labels – Part Number Chaos
There’s been much activity in the rhino range recently – first the discontinuation of the “black on red” and “black on green” tapes, and the 9mm Yellow and Orange tapes; then the addition of several new (and quite frankly strange) colours to replace them; then the addition of several new sizes for existing colours.
With all these new products comes a confusing hotch potch of different part numbers.

Dymo Scales software released
Dymo has at last released a software utility for it’s range of scales (launched back in 2011). It always seemed a bit weird that they came with USB cables to connect to a PC “just for power”, and even weirder that the requirements stated the scales were “compatible” with XP/Vista/Win 7 when at the time it was just a dumb device using usb for power.

New: Dymo fills in the gaps in the Rhino tape range
Dymo has recently expanded it’s Rhino range, filling in some of the gaps and fleshing out the 24mm sizes.
In the Polyester range the Clear tapes were previously only available in 9mm, but are now available in all sizes from 6mm-24mm. Metallic also adds 6 & 24mm tapes, while the white gains a 6mm size.
There’s no change to the Nylon range, but the Heat Shrink Tubing gains a 24mm tape in both white and yellow and the Vinyl range gains 24mm tapes across the board.

New Visitor Management Software for Dymo LabelWriters
A new low cost Visitor Management System has just been released for Dymo LabelWriter Printers. This new software is called “LW Reception” and is specifically written for the LabelWriter range of label printers, and is ideal for small to medium sized businesses looking for a way to print professional visitor badges.
