DYMO Label V8
Free Labelling Software for your Dymo LabelWriter Printer. Dymo Label software is supplied on CD with your LabelWriter, but you can download the latest version here (Supports XP, Vista, Windows 7):
With Dymo Label it is simple to print one or hundereds of labels. Here is a simple guide to creating and printing a label.
Once you open Dymo Label the screen will look like this:
Down the left side is a list of all the available sizes, and on the main part of the screen is a blank label just waiting to be edited.
|

First choose a label by clicking on one of the labels on the left - In this example the Shipping Label (99014) is selected. Dymo Label now pops up a list of pre-made templates to choose from (or of course you can design your own, which will be displayed in this list).
In this case just choose the plain address label with no frills.
|
The chosen label is now displayed on the right hand side.
|
Now just enter the address - you can do this by just typing it in, pasting from another application, or selecting an address from the built in Dymo address book.
|
The label can be printed now or you can make changes. You can change the formatting of the text - here the first line has been bolded.
Change to the designer tab which lists a selection of graphics and object types (barcodes, lines, counters etc). Any of these can be dragged across onto the label, positioned and resized. Here the 'fragile' image has been dragged onto the label.
Now just press the Print button to print the label! |
The Dymo Label Software also installs a Dymo icon into your popular applications, such as Microsoft Word. Printing a label is as simple as 1-2-3
